Intolerance. This is the shoe display at the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C. Apparently, as the Jews were getting off of the trains, they had to take off their shoes before being led to the gas chamber.
This blog was initially an attempt at a 365 project - taking a picture every day for a year. Well, that failed miserably, so I'm using it to post some of the pictures I'm half-way happy with.
