Silhouette

On the way home this evening, I was stunned by the beauty of the silhouette of these trees against the dusk sky. I'm sorry I couldn't capture how beautiful it truly was.

This is the neatest part of architecture in the building across the street from the library.

On my way to work, I stopped to admire the way the sunlight was shining on this holly tree.

Reggie's Visit to the Vet

Reggie visited the vet today and was extremely well behaved while there (he complained the whole trip there, though).

Reflection

We went out to dinner tonight, and the picture of the evergreen across the street didn't turn out, so the picture of the flower reflected in the restroom mirror gets today's spot.

Reggie Likes Ice

Reggie loves to play his own version of hockey with ice cubes. This is him thinking about it.

A Happy Face

A boy with Down's Syndrome came in to the restaurant with his family tonight, and created this smiley face made of food for Carrie, his waitress.

Pepper

I'm starting to think that there will be a lot of pictures of the cats in this project. This is Pepper, our oldest.

At today's Purple Friday, we visited the State House in Annapolis and played on it's steps. Pretty cool!

Julie's Scarf

Tonight, I finished crocheting a scarf that Julie had started as a Christmas gift for her "sister," but ended up being a belated birthday gift. Here it is, modeled by Jeff.

W.I.N.

At band tonight, I ran into something new. This image was stenciled on the sidewalk outside of the Raven's practice facility. Apparently, they're stenciled all over town, and if you find the gold ones and snap a photo, you're eligible to win a trip to the playoff game in Kansas City.

Here's Hoping

Tonight's MegaMillions jackpot is $355 million. A bunch of us at the Tidewater took up a collection, and this is the result. Wish us luck!

Mantle Decorations

Before all of the Christmas decorations come down, I thought I'd snap a quick picture of what was on the mantle.

Rasta Gummi

While at the Bengals/Ravens game today, Corie was performing reconstructive surgery on some gummi bears. Her most amusing was the Rasta Gummi pictured here.

Try Something New

I was cut early at work, it was really dead, so I sat at the bar with Tonya, and had a drink while crocheting a scarf I've been working on. I didn't feel like drinking my usual adult beverage, Wild Turkey, so I was talked into trying a new vodka we had in the house, Stoli Gala Applik.

Intro

A girl I work with told me about a 365 project that she was doing - taking a picture every day for a year. When I got home, I looked it up on-line, and there's an actual Project 365 website. Unfortunately, I don't think my photography is good enough to post on that site, but I thought I'd share my attempt at this project here.
